Committee Workshop on Local Renewable Energy


Deployment on State Property, the European Experience, Research Development and Demonstration Projects Underway to Overcome Barriers to Distributed Generation Deployment, and Setting Interim Targets

The California Energy Commission’s Integrated Energy Policy Report Committee (IEPR Committee) will conduct a workshop on topics related to Governor Brown’s goal of deploying 20,000 megawatts (MW) of renewable energy by 2020, including 12,000 MW of localized energy. Chair Robert Weisenmiller is the Presiding Member and Commissioner Karen Douglas is the Associate Member of the IEPR Committee. Other Commissioners may attend and participate in this workshop.
